“He loves me so much” means what? Hello!! He is not even ready to displease his parent for you (whom he claims to love so much). As such he does not care about your feeling, hurting you by his attitude and you live in illusion that he loves you. Accept that he is not interested in long term commitment and using parents as an excuse. Accept that he took you on ride and the ride is over. Just kick him out of your life, even if it is going to be very painful for you. On a long run you will be happy.
